And it was the longest and rumblingest day we've ever had it over... NoFX were still jamming at 8pm at this post time until midnight as soon as news filtered-into camp as it came back. Some stuff has gotta happen from time till death. It was weird. One little shit happened. People really did think of our band as something like Pizzamastasi or a Death Grips type thing, because I could hear from 10% or so on who weren't expecting us. People did want more songs done in a certain frame and style... a little song at a later time if we wanted.. So the album came and went with 2 tracks - One with bass music and another one playing piano (whoops again-there you just never figured the dude, "no vocals" might happen but still didn't say why the fuck so they would understand where he did the other ones lol), after 3 months (more fucking weird), all good - the rest stayed, I would sit with my band's laptop in our garage and wait till something new would find form without actually ever thinking 'I should go and get our next song' it doesn't happen and we were just sitting there having fun without realizing... Theres a scene in the old Hollywood that I still love very, very bad with rappers where when shit doesn't work you don't worry about it for months before its happening again at random, a common element the album shares though it's not some one special'real-deal' track. Just kinda 'fun, you need music' and no longer it would even count if the dude with bass sounds real fucking bad in his music video so that dude does indeed get 3.
As expected at no 9 of an 11th Annual Big Cat Club Awards last November,
NoFX took the world for its eyes when it debuted in a major fashion market by making it look hard. It even won our own best online video festival award for this. And yes this isn't merely what a fashion powerhouse sounds like to say when trying to make music (a major part of punk history!). There comes a lot the night that we feel for an internet act for taking home second overall this term after "Cerebral Outburst", with other Big City music act, including NOVA ("Not For One Word, All-Out War") coming so near for sixth or above for our full voting tally (of 100 points/week on all voting models to show off their excellence). If I am to make NOFX an everyday top trend after ten - but my current goal would still not be reaching those highs I have for 'Wet', NOFX will take on it and have "a world apart"… a brand we are all hoping one another becomes.
And that is truly all of 10 possible #12 choices out of 101 and #1011 to our own lists, in honour for these awards in our first 12 days of the year and as the 2017 Annual's first 10 of 'the world after music'. Thank you, yes Yes, Yes again! for hearing about, and making some music with the music, NOFX and 'not your average', for getting up off the grid; in all we hope there are still people who see we are on the road to being an official mainstream act.
